Essay Plan!
I have chosen to answer question 4 for my essay. I will be discussing how is new communication technology impacting on screen narratives in terms of production, distribution, story length and structure and emotional content? What options are emerging that point to the kinds of narratives we might expect to see in the future?
I found the lecture on the development of film over time particularly interesting which is why I chose this for my essay topic. I am also interested in the production side of flim making as well as enjoying being in front of the camera. Before having researched, my position is that new communication technologies has negatively effected the hollywood film industry and the industry needs to adapt to the continual growth in technology. With adaptation, the industry will know how to use new technologies to its advantage.
