Time to Edit!
After an initial hiccup of not having Jazmine's phone chord to transfer the footage from her phone to Lauren's computer which had microsoft movie maker we realized we could simply email the photos from her phone to Lauren's computer - problem solved! We then faced the issue that we couldn't use 'Bitter-sweet Symphony' like we'd hoped due to copyright issues...how we didn't think of that earlier i don't know!
So while Lauren began tranferring all the footage into the movie making program, Jaz and I searched for royalty-free music available on the internet. We were able to find a few good tracks but nothing for the second half of our production. Because there was audio in the shots we'd taken that we didn't want heard, Lauren was able to remove the audio and insert the track we had chosen for the beginning. We then played around with the timing of individual shots and did some cutting to allow the film to flow.
Next week we must finalize our music and make any final changes before the class viewing.
